I have really grown to love this family. I mean, I was their for their maternity portraits, Emmett’s newborn portraits, and his baby portraits. Now I present you, their family portraits after Emmett just turned a whole year old! I cannot believe how quickly time has passed! He’s already grown into such a handsome little boy. The most amazing part of this session was watching the dynamic between this little family. It’s apparent mom and dad revolve their entire lives and world around their little bundle of joy. And Emmett’s eyes just light up when he sees his mommy and daddy and it’s just so adorable how he demands their attention and love.

Family Portraits | Kosta & Family

You may remember Kosta from his newborn session in Charlotte as well as his six month baby session in Charlotte. I can’t believe it has already been one year since he was born! With four little ones myself, I know exactly how it is to feel like time goes by way too quickly. I will admit, it was a little sad to leave Kosta from his 1 year session. It almost feels like I’ve been broken up with

Since it was a bit chilly, we decided to shoot Kosta’s one year photo session at Imaginon Library in uptown Charlotte. After some fun indoor shots, we went just outside the library to take a few using their brightly colored walls as our backdrop. We then finished off the session at their home for a good ole’ fashioned cake smash. There is nothing cuter than babies and cake.
