2011 marked a year where I got to travel a lot. Being a photographer is a blessing to me and I don’t take any of it for granted. It gives my family & I the ability to road trip like nobody’s business. We were able to drive to places like Chicago, Charleston, Boone, & Savannah multiple times, and being able to go with my husband and kids makes me happier than anything else in this world. On top of that, Alin and I were able to have some personal time in cities where we’ve shot weddings in, like St. Maarten & New York City. My Best of 2011 || Personal collection consists of photos taken in or around my home, or on the trips we’ve taken. Some taken digitally. Some with film. You’ll also see special moments like Genevieve’s first manicure, Tristan’s 1st day of Kindergarten, and the time we shot off 4th of July fireworks in front of our house.

Welcome to part two of A Ghetes Family Christmas. This time with my side of the family, the Giurgiu’s. If you haven’t seen part one yet, you can HERE. I decided to do this one in the form of a slideshow since we had both video & photo clips. Some of the video was shot by my brother Gin. Enjoy.

I said I wasn’t going to blog until I came home after the holidays. But alas, I am bedded with the Flu & Strep, so I figured I would make myself useful with whatever strength I have left while laying here. Christmas with Alin’s family is always full of laughter, lots of kids, and chaos. And chaos is okay when the kids are having fun. My favorite part about Christmas this year, and every year? Seeing the joy on my kids’ faces when they open their gifts. I could never ask for anything more.
