Caroline and Joe are two of some of the most talented people I’ve ever met, let alone being given the privilege to shoot the biggest day of their lives! Caroline not only shares with me the coolest name ever, but she is a gifted clothing designer. In fact, she designed and sewed each and every single bridesmaid dress for her own wedding day. Each one is a completely different design! It was fun to watch Caroline outfit her bridesmaids and do their final touchups. These were her babies and watching this all unfold was what I think it might have been like to be behind the scenes of Project Runway. Now Joe, the groom, is also one gifted guy. Some of you car lovers out there may recall the Splinter wooden super car. Well Joe and his team, designed & built that. His amazing creation has been featured on the Discovery Channel, and rightfully so. It is amazing what they’ve done with it!

Anyhow, enough gushing about these two and their incredible talents. Let’s get on to their wedding day images. This is one of my favorite weddings that I have ever shot. Partially because it was in Charleston, my favorite city (after Chicago of course). And partially because Caroline may be one of the most beautiful women, inside & out, that I have ever shot. She gives the best hugs! And I cannot wait to hang out with these two again.

Thank you Alin, my adoring husband for helping me all day and second-shooting. Also, a big thank you goes out to my intern, Ashley, for also second-shooting with us. To see Ashley’s images from Caroline & Joe’s wedding day click on the following link: Asheville Wedding Photographer.
