So I’ve been making better food choices for a week now and on the actual Nutrisystem diet for 2 days. And guess what? I’ve lost 4 pounds since last Wednesday! Woohoo! Yesterday’s breakfast consisted of a blueberry muffin, with a cup of milk and a peach. Eating a peach and drinking milk is almost like brushing your teeth and then drinking orange juice right after. Pretty gross. BUT…I gotta’ do what I gotta’ do to get this weight under control, right? At least the Cajun lunch meal was pretty decent. For yesterday’s e-session in Charleston we had dinner at A.W. Schuck’s and was faced with making a healthy food choice on the menu. I needed something smaller portioned, more veggies, and not fried (as much, lol). So I ordered 4 shrimp stuffed with blue crab cake and wrapped in bacon (the bacon is probably the fried part, I think. It also came with a small side of blue crab cake, small side of grits, and then a large side of steamed broccoli. I felt pretty good after I ate that; not like I usually do when eating a big mouth burger and fries at Chili’s. So I’ve managed to make it through week one and am glad to see that the results are positive
