***UPDATE***If you’d like to know where & how I got every single item used in my packaging below, I can offer you those resources for a low price of only $25! I’ve received a ton of emails already in regards to where I found my materials, and I would love to share that information with anyone who’d like to save time doing the research on their own. It took me a little over a month and VERY LITTLE sleep to come up with what I have. So for $25 bucks, you can save yourself that madness! ALL $25 will be donated to my two sisters who one of which is going on a missions trip to Honduras this year and the other to Romania. So far, we have raised over $800 and I hope that we will be able to raise even more for this very worthy cause!
In addition to telling you the resources I used to make my own packaging, I will include some more names in there that I did not use, but may work for you. Many, if not all of them offer eco-friendly options. If you’ like to invest $25 in this info, use the Paypal button below to make your payment. I will send a Word document via your Paypal email address within 24-48 Hours. Simple as that! Thanks in advance for contributing to this wonderful cause!
So many of you may know that I am currently in the process of “going green” in my business. One of the steps that I have taken is in my packaging & photo presentation for my clients. I’ve done about a month’s worth of research just to find all of the pieces to put together. Almost each element you see here was bought from a different vendor. It would have been better to find them all in one place but I have yet to find a one-stop shop for all-green photo presentation for photographers. Every single thing you see is either bio-degradable, 100% recycled or 100% recyclable or reusable. I’ve just packaged a real wedding order (for Johanna & Blair) and here is what it all looks like. You like?
So here’s kind of an overall look of the finished product. The shopping bag is a 100% recycled Euro Tote.

A little peek at the envelope which contains the reproduction release & lab recommendations.

Inside the photo proof box. The box is 100% biodegradable.

Another look at the outside of the photo proof box all wrapped up.

I hand-stamped my logo on this really neat handmade paper.

Then I hand-stamped the word “photos” on these recycled chip-board hang tags. I’ve attached all tags & wrapped the boxes in 100% natural raffia ribbon.

Here’s a look at the CD my brides get. A photo is printed on a label and then adhered to the CD.

I use these natural hemp CD cases from Loktah. I LOVE their stuff!

The CD’s are placed on a bed of Natural Coarse Wood Excelsior, in side this 100% biodegradable black box.

Then the CD box is wrapped with Raffia ribbon and more hang tags are attached.

And there you go!
