Worship Him ~ Pastor Loran Livingston

I went to Central Church this morning. Many of you who have been reading my blog probably already have heard me say this many a times about Pastor Loran Livingston from Central Church here in Charlotte. It’s as if God is speaking directly to me through him. And I’m sure many others feel the exact same way. Every Sunday that I go, he says exactly what I NEED to hear to help with what I have been dealing with that week. It still amazes me. I won’t go into all of the detail of what’s been going on with me, but I will leave you with a quote from this morning that really has resonated with me and then take the time to click on the click and listen to the MP3 message from this morning.

  1. Carina - Caroline, I totally understand what you mean. I LOVE Central Church of God!! I struggled all throughout undergrad to find a church where I felt I could feel the presence of the holy spirit... Central was just the place! So happy that you had such a wonderful experience this morning! And.. what a fantastic quote! thanks for sharing :) In Him, Carina.
  2. Soraia Pescara - Hello Caroline, you have said it all. The same thing happens to me every time I hear him preaching...He is a man of God, I feel the presence of God in that church since Jan/2004 (my first time). The Lord has used him to speak to many people I know AM and PM service. There is also this Wednesday, he was preaching on a different direction and he stoped and stated that The Lord had a message for someone struggling with bad news in a form of email or letter and the message was that we needed to take our eyes from that letter and place it on Jesus, that God was already in control of situation and all should come to pass. That person was me, holding this letter in my hands, it was all wet from my tears and there was no way I could change the terms/statement on that letter. I quit looking at this letter and did what I was told and The Lord did not ONLY changed the situation to my favor, but HE gave me much, much, much MORE. =) Praise You Lord!!
