Lots & LOTS of new Shoots!

Okay so I know for the past few months I have been blogging a lot of personal stuff and that’s because I haven’t really scheduled a lot of work during that time. I needed time to settle into my new home, and there were a lot of things I needed to to take care of first before I took on more work. Well, as you all know, I will be due with my baby girl next month (April 30) and I have a TON of shoots lined up before then. Crazy? I know ; ) But I plan on taking May 2009 off for “maternity leave” and so I figured I would go crazy with shoots before it calms down again. The weddings were already scheduled before I found out about my being pregnant, so those were a given anyhow. So here is what my schedule looks like for the next month:

03/20/2009: Portrait Session in Phoenix, AZ
03/21/2009: Wedding in Phoenix, AZ
03/25/2009: Maternity Session
03/28/2009: Family Session AND Bridal Portrait Session
03/29/2009: Baby Dedication Service AND a Bridal Shower Party
04/10/2009: Rehearsal Dinner
04/11/2009: Wedding
04/14/2009: Couple & Doggie Session AND a Family Session

And then……BREAK for me!

So I will have TONS to post after this weekend! Please be patient as I try to prepare for my weekend trip to Phoenix the rest of this week and getting caught up with work before I leave. I am so excited for what is to come!

What Will It Take? ~ Loran Livingston ~ Central Church

This past Sunday morning I went to Central Church and it’s funny. I almost didn’t go. Just didn’t feel up to it and gave my husband some dumb excuses for not wanting to go. But Alan pointed his finger at me and said “You’re going. Put your clothes on and let’s go.” Normally I would have probably just rebelled just because I hate being told what to do, BUT instead, I just shuffled up the stairs, threw on some church clothes, got the kids in the car and went to church.

From the moment, Pastor Loran started to speak, I knew I was in for something big. Something special. And boy was I right. God truly spoke through him and spoke to me, to you, and to everyone in that place that morning. I think everyone can relate to this message. I will let you see for yourself.

Shrute Farms

Okay so I had to share this. My nephew just had his first birthday not that long ago and I got him this hilarious onesie handmade by Bambina Mia who you can find on Etsy. I am a HUGE ‘Office’ fan and have been from the very beginning and so are my nephew’s parents whom I used to watch with all the time. I thought they would get a kick out of it, and I knew they would ; )

Our Seventh Anniversary

Today, I will be celebrating me & Alin’s seventh wedding anniversary. I can’t believe it has been seven whole years and how much has happened during that time.

10 Reasons why I LOVE Alin (in no particular order):

1. He loves me unconditionally.

2. He has values & morals.

3. He works hard at whatever he puts his mind to.

4. He is the nicest person I have ever met.

5. He loves our kids to death and takes every opportunity to play with them.

6. He has never insulted me about my physical appearance while being pregnant in the last 4+ years.

7. He leaves adorable misspelled notes for me every now and then.

8. He has a most giving heart.

9. During the rockiest part of our marriage (first two years), and dealing with my immaturity, stupidity, bad decisions and threats to leave him, I can’t believe he still stayed married to me. I know I wouldn’t have dealt with me.

10. He makes me feel good about myself. Always complimenting and still as flirtatious as when we were dating.

To Alin:

If you were to ask me during the first two years of our marriage together, that I would be as happy as I am today, I would have said “absolutely not”. I cannot believe that through our emotional up and downs in the beginning, after three children (and one on the way), and after the financial struggles we have dealt with in the past year and a half, that we are as happy as we are today. I feel like with each passing year, that I love you more and more. You are my life-mate. I couldn’t have a more perfect husband and I love you more than anything in this world. Happy 7th Anniversary, baby.

With love always,

Caroline

I have created a video montage of some images from when we dated, got married, and all the way up until now. The images represent the love between us and the love I see between him and our kids too.
