This past weekend while in Phoenix, I got to shoot a beautiful wedding planned by the bride herself. Melissa & Manu (short for Emmanuel), were obviously head over heels with each other, and was very sweet to watch them throughout the day. Melissa was a total bombshell in her gorgeous dress & Manu was definitely rockin’ in his sweet suit and skinny tie. What was so great about shooting this wedding is that Melissa is like family to me. Her sister is actually married to my brother, and so we are technically sister-in-laws? Even better about shooting them was that they were such naturals in front of the lens. Melissa has a natural grace in her stance and looked good no matter how she stood. Manu just loved posing. I knew this from their engagement shoot at Antelope Canyon last October, and I knew I would have fun with it again for their wedding. Anyway, enough talk. Let’s get on with the photos.

Now on to the wedding…

Manu is such a poser, hehehe.

Manu is an aspiring firefighter and so we got to visit the fire station in downtown Phoenix for a few shots.

We found this neat hotel in Scottsdale with some cool spots for the next few shots. This is Manu just messing around & being Manu : )

Probably one of my favorite bride shots to date. I LOVE the lighting in this and the details in her dress.

He was having fun all day long. The Rock Star drink helped too, I’m sure ; )

Are you kidding me?? This girl barely has any makeup on. She is a natural beauty.

At the end of the reception, they finished it off with some fireworks. Awesome, right??
