Hey fellow photogs! I will be out of town with my hubby and kids shooting a wedding in AZ the weekend of the 11th, and will be back here the weekend of the 18th to shoot a wedding and then back in AZ for another wedding the weekend of the 26th. I will be coming back here without my husband to shoot the wedding here and I need an assistant/second shooter to help me out with a wedding here. I will need someone who thinks they can do the following:
- Available to carpool with me to Greensboro and be in Greensboro by 4:00pm Oct. 17th and stay until about 10:00pm
- Available to shoot the second day of the wedding celebration at the bride & groom’s lake house from about 11:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday Oct. 18th
- Help me with my equipment when necessary
- Help me with lighting/shading/supplemental lighting when asked of
- Must have your own camera and flash and take photos during the wedding day and day after (there will be some times during the day that I may ask you to take certain shots or from certain angles so that we have different point of views.
After the wedding I will be editing all of my photos and your photos for the bride. This is in order to keep the photos flowing using the same editing styles, color tones, and effects. Obviously you have the rights to your own photos to do whatever you’d like with them and add to your portfolio.
This opportunity is kind of like an intern opportunity. This does not pay. This is a good experience for photographers who are looking to build their portfolio and are wanting to learn how weddings are done and there may be some free time during the wedding that we may be able to talk a little bit about your questions. I cannot guarantee that there will be time during the wedding, since I almost never sit down during a wedding, BUT there will be time during our mini roadtrip each way.
