So I had a somewhat interesting day today, and for once, it didn’t involve editing or ordering. Basically here is an outline of my day today along with some of my thought process too. At 10:00am I woke up, made breakfast for the boys and gave Oliver his bottle. Then I spent about two hours folding all the clean laundry. Here is what my pile of clothing looked like after I was done folding them.

Spent a little time with my adorable 6 month old, Oliver, who is the cutest baby on the face of this planet. Isn’t he?

Then I put Oliver to work on editing some of my photos on his laptop.

Meanwhile, I had to keep up with making sure my two year old and three year old were doing potty in the toilet and not in their underwear. I love saggy underwear on tiny little butts. It’s freakin’ adorable.

And then of course, the whining hinted to me it was time to eat lunch and take a nap.

During naptime, I sat down to work on some bills and personal paperwork, with which I didn’t get very far because my six month old woke up after a tiny catnap and decided he wanted to be as noisy as he possibly could be while I was on the phone trying to concentrate.
When everyone woke up, Alan came home from work and I decided the kids needed to get out of the house. I had two Toys R’ Us gift cards that had balances on them in an unknown amount, so I figured, let’s go to Toys R’ Us with all three of my boys and my little 4 year old sis, and pick out a toy. We had $26.62 to spend so we bought an army playset and some Hot Wheels.
We then went to McDonald’s to let the kids get some exercise at the PlayPlace. I had a number 1. I shouldn’t have, but I did, and I feel guilty now. Story of my life. We then went home and put the kids to bed.
Back it up. I do want to mention one thing. While doing my laundry, I was blasting my “worship music” section in iTunes, and all the songs in there are by Hillsong. In my opinion they write the best Christian music ever known today. I couldn’t stop listening to “Inside Out”. I was singing out loud and probably looked like a crazy person to my kids. But singing out loud to Hillsong reminded me so much of when I sang in the worship group during Youth Nights in Arizona at our church there, and I then realized how much I missed it. I then, thought about what would happen if we decided to move back. I don’t think it will happen, but I miss my family so much and I cannot wait to see them again! Family, if you are reading this, get your mind off of it. We aren’t going back. ; )
By the way, I got my camera back from repair. The aperture and shutter was replaced. Thank God for insurances and warranties!
And thank God for Hillsong too. Please watch this Hillsong video and listen carefully to the lyrics. They are beautiful and they will touch you like they touched me today.
Still Your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I’m caught in Your grace
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out
