Okay so I am not sure why I felt the urge to post this, but I thought it would be funny if you all thought this was funny. Since I LOVE weddings so much, I wanted to share with you my first ever wedding experience as a flowergirl at my mom’s friend’s wedding. Keep in mind, that I am only 6 here, and I had absolutely no say in what I got to wear to the wedding. My mom dressed me until I was 14, not by choice -by force, LOL! So the handsome little gentleman on the right thought it would be cute to show my parents how kissing is done by planting a few on me in the back of the limo while my parents were driving behind us. So there you go. Enjoy this photo taken around 1988.

Original Post:
Okay so I had this wonderful idea where I could give a away a free session for a family, couple, or whoever really, and 50 holiday cards with photos from the session, to pass out to your family & friends! Instead of just giving the session away to one random person, I thought I would hold a little contest and choose the winner based on the most creative answer to my random question.
The winner will receive the following:
- 1-2 hour photo session with up to four people
- Retouching & Post-Processing of Each Image
- 25-30 images posted online for 30 days for you to view and place any orders
- 50 Holiday Cards & envelopes custom designed by me! (see a sample below)
In order to be qualified to win, you must post your answer in the comments section below this post by September 30th, 2008 Midnight EST. I will announce the winner on October 1st, 2008 who must then schedule and complete their session between October 1st, 2008 and November 1st, 2008 and session must take place within 25 miles of zip code 28226 in South Charlotte. These are the rules and I will be sticking to them! Now on to the fun stuff! Answer this question and be creative with your answer:
If every job in the world paid the exact same salary,
what profession would you choose and why?
I am a “Top Pick Photographer”! Praise be to Jesus!
It has been a couple of months of decision-making for the Wedding Photography Directory, verifying past clients’ testimonials and judging current portfolios, and finally they have come up with a decision to choose their 6 Top Pick Photographers for the Year. Out of almost 250 photographers in their directory, they have informed me today that I am one of the Top 6 Pick of the year! You can see my WPD listing HERE. HUGE thanks to all of my past brides (thanks Denise, Shawnte, Stephanie, & Lisa!) and to all of my friends, families, and supporters for helping to make this happen! And of course, thanks be to God for being the best, and the one and only in my life. I cannot believe that in a year and a half since kicking off my photography company, that He has sent so many blessings my way. I could not have done it without Him.
